About the role
As a Mechanic - Workshop with the City of Coffs Harbour, you'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles, plant, and equipment. You'll manage service records, monitor asset performance, and coordinate warranty claims and insurance documentation. You'll also support efficient workshop operations through inventory control, equipment maintenance, and adherence to operational plans. Your contribution will play a vital role in reducing downtime, extending asset life, and enabling the City to deliver essential services to the community.

About you
You're a qualified Motor Mechanic with proven experience in servicing heavy vehicles, earthmoving equipment, and construction plant. You hold essential certifications, including an MR Licence, RTA inspection certificate, and White Card, and bring additional expertise in welding and fabrication. You consistently deliver safe, high-quality work with strong attention to detail, while maintaining accurate and thorough documentation.
